Who looks after your details
Ed Parker looks after any personal details you send through this website. Email to this site goes to ed@parkerliving.co.uk, a mailbox run by my company, Parker Living Limited (company number 15461533). If you have a question about your details, that's the address to use.
What this site collects
Nothing on its own. There's no form, no account and no cookies. If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive what you choose to send: usually your name, how to reach you and what you're asking about.
Why I use it
Only to reply to you and to arrange whatever you asked about, such as a talk. I use your details because you got in touch and asked me to.
Who it's shared with
- The services that carry the message: Google (the mailbox runs on Gmail) and Meta (WhatsApp). Their servers may be outside the UK.
- Software I use to sort the inbox and draft replies, which I check before anything is sent.
I never sell your details, and I don't add you to a mailing list.
How long I keep it
If nothing comes of it, I delete messages within two years. If we work together, I keep records for as long as the law requires.
Cookies and other services
This website doesn't use cookies, tracking or analytics. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to fetch them. Video thumbnails are stored on this site, so YouTube only knows you're there once you click through to watch. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which keeps basic technical logs such as IP addresses to keep it running and secure.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Strava, GitHub, WhatsApp and Parker Living take you to those sites, which have their own privacy notices.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details I hold about you, ask me to correct them, or ask me to delete them. Just email. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
